VAT).  On demand.  If you're new to the Code, this 3 hour, self-directed eLearning course gives a great introduction to the 2024 ABPI Code of Practice.  The 6 modules cover the key clauses of the Code, with examples and interactive exercises.  It is aimed at those who are new to the pharmaceutical industry, those working in supporting agencies or anyone who wants to understand more about the Code. The course has 6 modules covering: Module 1:  Background to the Code.  Module 2:  Obligations and requirements.  Module 3:  Promotional materials and activities.  Module 4:  Digital, websites and social media.  Module 5:  Meetings, venues and exhibitions.  Module 6:  Non-promotional activities.  The course will take a minimum of 3 hours. This is an on demand self-directed online, eLearning course.  You'll need internet connection and a computer/device with speakers, so you can listen to the audio. You take the course at your own pace - all in one go, or in modules.  We track your progress so if you need to leave, you can start again where you left off.  You'll get a certificate at the very end of the course. You can take the course once and it must be completed within 6 months of registering. This course is aimed at creative designers, often based in agencies and explores the 2024 ABPI Code of Practice from a visual design perspective.  This 3-hour hybrid course has 3 short pre-recorded videos giving background to the Code (20 minutes), a live training session on zoom (2.5 hours) and a final course assessment and course certificate (10 minutes).  Expect to cover all the visual aspects of the Code - artwork, graphs, prescribing information, banner adverts, black triangles, web design and more. Watch the videos before the live zoom session. Live zoom sessions are run every 4 months between 2pm - 4.30pm (UK time).  The next live dates are 10th October 2024 and 12th February 2025. It is great for those who are new to the Code, who don't need to know the whole Code in detail, but want the chance to ask questions, discuss and review mock materials.  It is ideal for reviewers, material originators and agency staff.  The course gives a background to the Code and then focuses on the big 5 topics - principles, promotion v non-promotion, meetings and events, using clinical data and digital activities such as websites and social media. Please watch the videos at a convenient time before the live course. The live zoom sessions run every couple of months on 5th December 2024 and 5th February 2025. Zoom session times are 10.30am – 12.30pm, 1.30pm – 2.30pm and 3pm – 4pm. Make sure you attend all three sessions. The sessions aren’t recorded. This half-day LIVE refresher course blends live and recorded training.  It has 5 optional videos explaining the background to the Code and the key changes in the 2024 edition (45 minutes), a LIVE training session on zoom (3 hours) covering recent key cases and finishes with a course assessment and certificate (15 minutes). It is great for those who are experienced with the Code wanting to focus on the big Code topics.  We skip the basics and dive straight into the latest cases, trends, do's and don'ts to help you stay Code compliant. There is the chance to ask questions during the live session and discuss the latest trends and cases.
